Regular and Industrial Papers
Paper submissions will be through IFAC standard system ifac.papercept.net. The basic timetable is as follows:
- Paper submission site opens: July 1, 2015
- Draft paper: November 20, 2015
- Notification of acceptance: February 17, 2016.
- Final paper: April 11, 2016 (deadline extended 1 week due to multiple requests).
For paper length we suggest that you aim for traditional 6 pages conference papers but we will accept papers up to 8 pages. Templates are available for LaTeX, and Office, from the papercept-site and support for the templates can be found at papercept.net. More details will be made available as we come closer to the event.
New – Industrial Presentation
Progress and innovation depends on the interaction between industry and academia and the events we organize are intended to promote exchange of ideas and solutions and thus support and speed up the progress. We realize that the demands and conditions for industry are different from those in academia, where it is not always possible to get time and permission to write full papers. To promote discussions and engagement of industry in the event we will at the AAC 2016 test a mechanism to engage industry in our community by introducing a special submission category that is called “industrial presentation”. In this format the industry can participate and present either current problems that can be of interest for academia, or report results of implemented solutions.
To be able to design a clear program we will require the following for an industrial presentation:
- Title of the presentation
- Presenter, and/or contributors and their affiliation
- A single page PDF-file, with the same contents as the three items above (the uploading of a PDF is a requirement by the papercept system).
We want all these so that the program with sessions can be planned accordingly, and so that the attendees can make an educated evaluation if the presentation is interesting for them or not by reading the book of abstracts.
The deadline for submission of industrial presentation is January 22 and the submission goes through the http://ifac.papercept.net system.
