The 8th IFAC international symposium on advances in automotive control (AAC 2016) is a triennial symposium that took place in Kolmården Wildlife Resort (Vildmarkshotellet) near Norrköping city, in Sweden, June 19-23, 2016.
Following the past successful symposiums at Ascona, Columbus, Karlsruhe, Salerno, Monterey, Munich, and Tokyo the goal of IFAC-AAC symposium was to contribute to the future research and development by active exchange of knowledge and vision between engineers from industries and academia.
In addition to the main symposium there were tree pre-symposium tutorials covering both basics and emerging areas within Automotive Control that were organized at Linköping University Campus, Saturday, June 18 – Sunday, June 19. Transportation was arranged from the pre-symposium to the Welcome reception.
The organizing committee invites you to participate in the symposium for getting knowledge and impression about state-of-the-art research and development through active discussions with various participants from industries and academic circles.
The event was sponsored by the three major OEMs in Sweden. Scania, Volvo Cars, and Volvo Trucks. If you have questions about the event then you can contact our symposium coordinator Pia Johansson on e-mail or +46-13-282368.
